Any iron work is fun.

Hey Peapie! Thanks!
Yes, the wax/oil can be used on floors, however, there is a slightly different formula you want to use. I buy mine from a company in New York I think and it is quite expensive. They have a formula for floors specifically but I'm not sure you want to spend that much. I'll get you the info on it and where I get mine from. You might be able to make your own. They are all very simply ingrediants. But it does take this stuff a while to dry also.

Hey Molly! Well, you know, it's the truth. I'd rather be doing "other stuff"! Ha!
I think they are quite "me" too! Thanks!MamaHenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17018971960706063902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22455933.post-84844130324096350362009-01-05T09:37:00.000-06:002009-01-05T09:37:00.000-06:00LOL@other stuff! And I agree that small-seeming finish work makes a big difference.

About this linseed/beeswax concoction: can it be used on hardwood floors, or is there a slickness issue? The floors in our little farmhouse are so old that the finish has completely rubbed off, so they're really hard to keep clean. We're only staying here temporarily, until we find some land we like, so I don't want to undertake anything too major (like sanding and refinishing), and I don't want to bother with staying somewhere else all weekend while we coat it in stinky polyurethane, either.countrypeapiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10276399830149241673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22455933.post-72760078382662999592009-01-04T21:34:00.000-06:002009-01-04T21:34:00.000-06:00Wow!
