Sick Of Sick

Ah, gratuitous photos of pottery!  If you are thinking, 'well, she must not have anything else to share with us because she's putting up pottery pics', then you'd be correct.  Seems I got over the shingles just in time for Willie to die and me to come down with a wonderfully effective case of bronchitis.

The doctor thought it was walking pneumonia at first but the blood test came back negative.  I guess that's good.  I mean, I guess bronchitis is better than pneumonia.  So, the beating continues....but I've have rough times before and they eventually come to an end and I suspect this one will too.  Geez Louise, I've already added waaayy too much stuff to the "things that suck" label on here!
At any rate, all this has given me some time to read and enjoy the PBS series Craft In America in between coughing and feverous fits.

Whoa, I feel so bad for you. Been there and done that before and it seems like it is agonizingly slow going.

Hey, you will be back to "great" in no time...and yes, bronchitis is much, much better than pneumonia. You don't want that. Ugh.

Yep, what about this past year hasn't been icky...well some things. I who never gets sick, save an occasional seasonal allergy bout, had bronchitis in late July, with fever. I can count the fevers in my life on one hand, then a rotten sinus infection in Sept. Outbreak of psoraisis, where did that come from, then laryngitis and to boot it all, I felt and did a grade 3 sprain/strain to my wrist. It is a bummer..hoping this year will be better...I have bumped up lysine, zinc to go along with all my other supplements..I'll blame it on menopause...yep, that is it.

My friend, I'm really glad that you have Jack there to keep an eye on you!

Always nice to have a partner that can offer moral support if nothing else!

Hope you get better soon!

I'm sure you are aware of this, but there is a vaccine for shingles...you know? I've only recently learned this myself having become a big fan of the Today show (that's where I get all my facts.) :)Anyway, get it!

Ooo... elderberries! I have been trying to find a place to source those around here. I am in North-eastern Jeffereson County. Would you post a picture of them someday? I have access to lots of land and would love to find them growing somewhere. But I have read that they look different depending on what part of the country they grow in so I am having hard time finding a good picture reference... :)
