Crazy Train

Due to privacy issues (that have nothing to do with things I have talked about recently) and the fact a person has been stealing my photos, this blog with be shut down.  I know that I may sound like a whackadoodle after all I've written about but I have verified this through 3rd parties, so it is unfortunately true.  Even Jack can verify that this person is acting in a very disturbing manner and he even wants me to start carrying a gun. (the person lives in AL). This person has been following me for over a year now and it is very upsetting because they have also tried to get some of my friend's personal info and I got proof recently that they are taking my photos, which I had suspected.  Since I make part of my living with my photos, I have to protect them and myself.  This decision is solely related to this person's actions and a result of my absolutely refusing to put up with even a shred of any more bullshit.  I have had it with deceptive, malicious behavior and am going through my life with a broad sword, a sieve and a torch.

The blog will still exist for the construction information, and the fact that any photos stolen here have already been got, so I'm just gonna leave most of it..  However, it will be cleaned up of many personal references and just left for the building/ gardening info.  I don't want to make it private because then it would block folks from finding relevant construction info and I still get a lot of hits for people looking for that sort of thing.  I will start a new, very anonymous blog (also about building, gardening etc.) sometime very soon, so if you want to follow along please email me at the address over to the right, at my personal email if you know it, or message me on Facebook. And I give you my solemn word that your email address will be sacred to me.  I will never disclose it to anyone.  I will explain what's happening on the new blog.  If you email me, I will verify that you are who you say you are and then send you the link.  I will also be sending out the link in an email to those of you that I have your contact info. If you do not wish to follow me to the new blog then I sincerely thank you for reading all these years and wish you the best. Cheers!

Edit:  Some folks may wonder (and I do too sometimes!) why I continue to write and share, especially some of the very troubling things.  A longtime reader sent me an email and this was one line..." your sharing your struggles in life makes my own seem easier to face..."  Okay, THIS is why I keep writing.  This is why I share.  Due to a lot of circumstances, I can't physically help many folks.  I don't have the various means.  But if I can encourage anyone to keep trying and fighting, then I will do that and the hell with anyone that scoffs at it.

Someone stole my blog word for word, pictures and all. When I was without a computer or for some reason did not blog, that person's blog was discontinued. I think I will check and see if it is still being used. Yes, I want to follow your new blog. I will send an email.

Have you thought about putting a watermark on the photos you post? I think if I was in the business of selling them, that would be the only way I would post a photo.

I can't fathom why anyone would want to steal a blog word for word. I guess I can understand why people steal pictures but the blog itself mystifies me.

Although I think you have my info, I will send you an email too.

Hey Linda! I will be sure to send you a link. I have your email on my personal account too, so shouldn't be a problem to reach you. I have never understood why someone would want to copy another blog word for word but apparently there is something to it. I've heard of that before.

Hey Ed! Yes! definitely I will be putting watermarks on my photos from now on. I did that on Facebook lately on one photo that I considered very good and will expand to most all of them I guess. I'm not actually sure if the person has taken my photos from here or FB but stamping the photos is just going to be standard from now on.. I never understood the word for word thing either. But I've heard of that several times.

I'm a privacy nut (hence the "Anon) and I've always admired how you were able and willing to share. I've gotten a lot out of your blog over the years. Information, yes, but also inspiration and a friendship feeling. I can certainly understand what you're doing now - I'd probably be burning the Internet!

I find that although some may accuse of "whackadoodlishness," usually when you have a feeling about something like this it's true (what I mean is that that "feeling" is usually based on real-but-subtle clues, and sometimes other people try to talk you out of that, but that type of "feeling" is usually correct because it is based on facts, even if they may be subtle ones).

I will send you an e-mail.

I too have had my photos taken, I was selling mine at shows and it really angered me. I let them know I wasn't pleased and they sure didn't like it. Well I sure didn't like that you took my photo's and also had a friend of theirs take them too. I have now upgraded my privacy on FB and going to look into the blogger one also.

Sorry to hear of the new and additional troubles, Annie. I'll certainly email, as I'd love to keep up with you ~ Best of luck and many good thoughts your way.

I had just found your blog recently, but you have some gorgeous photos and some truly helpful stuff, so I hate that someone is taking your work and passing it as their own. I hope that things with the elderly acquaintance work out and that you stay safe and happy. Being new and posting as anonymous, I know probably makes me an automatic no for your new blog, so I just wanted to say that I have learned from what I've read and thank you.

Hey Erin! good! I got it.

Hey Anon-R! you are absolutely correct. I have found over the past few years that those "feelings" have been dead-on correct, and I am going to pay VERY close attention to them from now on. Glad to have you along.

Hey Jo! well that's crappy! Yeah, it's a very real problem and somebody is going to eventually get something but we have to do the best we can to protect our stuff.

Hey Sis! good to have you along! and thanks for the good thoughts and prayers.

Hey Anon-T! thank you so much. Well, I do have a tracking program on this blog, so ..I can "see" who visits and I see your visit and info. If you are so inclined, you can email me and verify your city and state with the operating system you use and I will let you in.
