Hey Erin and Pam! yes! it is greenware. And that is a "flock block"! It does contain grit and also grains, oyster shell, molasses and vitamins and minerals. I saw this the other day at a local farm supply and thought they would enjoy it, and they do. They pick at throughout the day.
Pictures say more than words and yours show how busy you have been and how happy the girls are with that flock block, which at first looked something like pottery.

I'd say! Looks like an assembly line one-woman factory. What a hard worker you are, Annie. Admirable, good job.
Beautiful greenware. Is that what it is called at this stage? What are the chickens eating?
Looks like a grit block for the chickens? Love those speckled ones!
Hey sissy! thanks! Gotta do LOTS more though!

Looks like all the girls (including you!) have been having fun!
Busy around your place!
Wow! Great work Annie! I like that flock block idea too.
Your hens make me think of a rock collection I know of, agates and jasper and quartz, how handsome they are!
