Give Out

The continuing saga of Edifice Rex will now pause for intermission of an undetermined length.  For the very few of you that are still reading I apologize but I am at the end of my rope.  My health and energy has continued to weaken to the point I stay in bed a fair amount or just lay on the couch.  Yes, I tried a number of doctors but they are simply of no help.  They do a little bloodwork and then say you're fine.  The soonest referrals to a specialists are mid November.  I went through this same episode years back after an especially bad case of food poisoning and the docs were of no help then either.  Exact same symptoms but they just don't listen to me.  I don't know.  I don't want to keep yammering about how bad I feel, I've lost enough people so far over health issues, so I am just going to opt out for a while.  I'm having trouble thinking straight enough to write much and nothing going on to write about anyway.  The last episode took me about 2 months or so to get over so it may be the same this time, don't know.  I apologize to my few, new readers but there's 6 years worth of old stuff that may be of some interest.
I'll be back at some point I imagine.  Ya'll take care.

We will be here when you come back. I'm sure you've thought of this, but: I wonder if the chiropractor who you said asked about your having one kidney, could recommend someone of like mind. --I too have lost faith in traditional medicine as I've entered my 50s. My significant other is a retired doc and he feels almost the same.

Annie, I feel so bad that you are having such a rough time. It is depressing for someone who is use to being active to be in bed and have trouble getting around for bathroom etc. So wish I could help you. I carefully do stretches and they help a lot. Not sure if they would help you. Hugs...I'll email again if I think of something that might help. I did buy minerals from Puritan's Pride, take twice a day and find that they help along with calcium. I'd like to buy a medium size bowl if you have any left. I'll get it later when you feel up to sending it. I'll send you a ck then you can send it. If that is ok. Thanks!

Take care get all the rest your body is asking for. I understand the frustration as I have not been able to see a Dr. either. I do have an apt. for Feb. yes Feb.

I will be waiting for your return with the others.

Add our wishes for feeling better, Annie. Knowing how you enjoy being active, this staying in bed has to be very tough. Take all the time you need to take care of yourself. Those who enjoyed reading your posts will still be here later.

I am so sorry you are still feeling so bad. Your readers aren't upset with you writing about your health issues. Please take care of yourself. Will be checking back to see how you are. I am assuming they have tested you for any tickborn diseases/West Nile mosquito disease. They can show different symptoms, be difficult to diagnose and be extremely debilitating. Cathy

Hey Annie,
I hope you can get this resolved soon. Hard to picture you not full of energy and taking on whatever challenges come your way.
I will be thinking of you at the Cedar Key Seafood Festival this weekend.
Can't believe it's been a whole year already since we got to meet in person.
Best wishes!

I KNOW all too well just how you feel. Been dealing with this for 2 years now with NO help from Dr's here either. One did discover my irons too low, vit. D3 is too low but I can't take them because they give me cold sores which is crazy. Then thyroids are yo-yoing from hypo to hyper every 3 months or so. Got a lot of inflammation some where in my body. The last one found all these problems but couldn't figure out what's going on with the thyroids. So I just stopped going and am still trying to figure it out for myself. I did find a book that I bought that I am praying is going to help me get it figured out WHEN I can half think straight. It's like my brain don't function right now a days....So I know how you feel and what you're going through. It's rough and I feel for you!
Someone just gave me your blog addy tonight because I to have chickens and she thought I might like to see it. It's been so long since I posted on my blog I had to google my addy to put on here.
