And Now For Something A Little Different

So, I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for things to post about. Therefore, it is time for you all, as loyal readers, to throw me a bone here. Gimme some ideas.

Anybody want me to post about a particular aspect of the house? I still have not finished categorizing everything on that.

Anybody want to see a post about a particular aspect of my real work?

Anybody want to see a specific home project demonstrated? Carpentry? Masonry?

Anybody want to ask me a question on pretty much any subject? And hey, I've been a construction worker for 15 years; there's not a lot I haven't been asked already.

I don't know; gardening? conserving? rural living? home life? my art?

I promise I won't be offended by anything (or if nobody asks anything!) I just feel like I've been boring lately. Or being a drongo!! Not much to offer. So???

I'll start! what do you have for a food pantry? Do you have cold storage, root cellar?? Are you a prepper?

I'm thinking racy photos.

You may have posted about this before, but how did you go from art school to construction work? And how's the stained glass coming? Show us some of your other work.

How long has it been since you've played in the mud? If you could make a living doing that, would you? Would you get bored turning out piece after piece? Sorry...but really I miss reading about the craft end of things, seeing pictures of your clay work.

Though new to your blog, I'll put in a vote for gardening and preserving and rural living.

I've been reading back a bit, still catching up, and I'm really enjoying the blog.

I always enjoy your house project postings but would really like to see more of you playing in the mud. I find what I have seen of your pottery to be beautiful work. I would have to put my hands on it before I would buy it but what I have seen makes me want to pick it up and use it.

peace

Hey!! these are great! thanks ya'll! I'll either answer each one as a post of combine a few, like the gardening or clay, to make a post. So ya'll be patient with me but I'll get to every one.

Hey Anon! Thanks for asking! I'll answer all of that in one post.

Hey IR! That will be one seperate post also. Thanks for asking.

Hey Gin and Woody! I'll just put ya'lls questions together.

Hey annette! thanks for reading and hope you continue. I'll put yours and molly's in together.

Hey Molly! Oh, I know! But I'm such a goof most of the time!

As for me, I read primarily for the construction related stories.

I supposed I could be interested in stories about rural living if they were more how to. But you have a lot more experiences in the construction trades then I do both in terms of time on the job and in terms of breadth of experience. In rural living, not so much.

Hey Chieftain! Yeah, even though I grew up on a farm I don't feel I have much to offer for info on rural living. There are far better resources out there than my blog! Maybe one day I can show more on that subject.

Ooh, I'd like to see more about your artwork. I haven't had a chance yet to go back and read past posts about your mediums and see examples of your work.

I didn't realize you were raised on a farm. So I guess you had enough of "the city"?

I like it all! We're going to focus on gardening more this year, so I'm eager to see your post about that.

I love the pottery, too, but I also understand how there is an ebb and flow to such things.

And, you know, anything about the Switchman intrigues me....

Hey CE! I'll be making some posts about various art I do; if I can get some photos!
I was raised on a small farm but yeah, I've lived in several cities and just don't care much for it.

Hey Pea! My gardening posts are not nearly as informative as a lot of other bloggers I know but I'll do the best I can on that.
I plan on doing a more detailed post on my pottery too. I really need to do more of that anyway.
Well, the Switchman intrigues me too! although he may have some competition now!
