I did it!! I topped out the siding on the highest part of the house! YEA!!!! This side has gone very well and much quicker than the north side. I think because I don't have all those freakin' rafter tails to cut around. Now, I just need to build the louver for the gable vent and install that but all the siding is up.Just before the sun went down I finished caulking so I can start painting this last lift as soon as I can get back to it. I'll be heading to Mama's house tomorrow for Thanksgiving so it will probably be Friday before I will have time for work again. I'm going to boonswoggle Allen into helping me build that louver over the weekend too and get that installed.
I'm really starting to get inspired and excited now; I can see the light at the end of the tunnel it seems. If the weather and lack of real work will just hold out, maybe I can finish this thing before I croak.

Looking good Annie. That must be a good feeling to see some light at the end of the tunnel. I just climbed into the tunnel and light dos'nt seem to be any where near for awhile yet.
Now you can dig up a NEW project...it never ends!
