Early Morning

These are a couple of shots from the field in front of the job I'm on now. It's a very pretty site.

This is fairly early in the morning, just as the sun is coming up.

That is a beautiful little spot there. Not a bad thing to look at first thing in the morning.
The craziness continues eh?

Hey Maya! Yeah, when the foreman came and told me about the 'incident', I accused him of just trying to mess with me; you know, get me all worked up and then I realized, partially by his perplexed look, that he didn't know anything about the railroad stuff or what I was talking about! lol! I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

I wonder why they're being so mysterious abou it. Are the feds involved somehow?

Hey Pablo! As far as my company not telling who is going; they are just like that. As far as I can remember, that has always been their policy. I don't know if they think we might run away if we know where (or who) we are being sent to or what!
As far as the 'incident', I know what happened in detail, but because the railroad is so weird about who knows their business, I'm just not going to say more. and as you well know, the Dept. of Homeland Security now monitors the railroads and all transportation, so in a way, yes, the feds are involved.

More than a homeland security issue is the railroads internal reporting of injury/incidents and their effect on the area divisions bonus for supervision.

Hey Woody! Aaahh, I bet that does have more to do with it!
