There's Gold In Them Hills

One last picture of fall foliage. Not sure what type of tree these are but they were the last to drop their leaves. It was actually snowing lightly here early Monday morning as I left for work but it didn't last long.
Not much going on around here lately. Probably just show a photo or two here and there for a while.

What stunning colours ER. Wish we had snow here, I was 40 and in Canada (where hubby was born) before I ever saw snow!

Possibly beech trees, based on the light bark. Love that gold.

Hey Molly! Well, I wish we got just a little more snow here than we do. It rarely snows more than an inch or two, once or twice a year. I remember one though, years ago, it snowed about 18 inches one time. It was incredible!

Hey Jenn! I think you are correct. I was trying to think of beech but just couldn't come up with the name.

Nice! We have pretty subtle color changes here.

Hey FC! We had a lot more color this year than I expected, with the drought and all.
