I got it to bloom again. Sweet.
I think I have discovered another hobby.
I was informed as of Friday afternoon, I will be unemployed. It could change but I doubt it. I am somewhat looking forward to time off. I've got lots to do at the house.

It's pretty nice for the first three years. :)
Seriously, enjoy the time off. It makes it far easier to get things done on the homefront. And then, when ready to beef up the savings account again, the economy will turn around. Hopefully.

I am impressed! So many blossoms and simply gorgeous.
Enjoy the time off as much as possible. That was one of the mistakes I did the first time I lost my job. I was so worried about getting the next job that I didn't enjoy my time off.
So, since you are going to have some time on your hands, I will send you about a dozen poor pathetic ignored orchids hanging in my oak tree for some rehab. How about it? Try not to stress about no work. It will come in time. In fact, do you think you could start your own handywoman business? I know a lot of people who would prefer a woman's work over a guys. Nothing against the guys, but, I think you could find an niche market out there.
I am so impressed by your orchid! I've never had much luck with them. Find some indoor projects so that you can stay out of this heat! Lee has started wearing a cooling vest -- it's like his own personal air conditioning.
Hey Ron! Yeah, it's nice! However, there has been a change in what I thought was happening.
Hey Erin! thanks; it took me several tries with this one plant to succeed in it blooming again.
Hey Ed! See reply to Ron's comment. I will post about it soon.
Hey IR! Ha! I'll give 'em a try!
I did at one time actually do a handiwoman service but did not enjoy it much and it's very hard to make much money. You are right however, a lot of people do like a woman's touch if she is able to do carpenter work well.
Hey Pea! A cooling vest!??? what kind of sorcery is that? where'd he get such a thing? lol! I want answers, woman!!! :D Oh, I could see it now, if I wore such a thing to work, the guys would knock me over the head to get it. ha!
The orchid took me several tries to get it to rebloom. It would bud and fall off, bud and fall off and then I finally figured it out.
I've been unemployed since June 12.
Enjoy the time. How's the pup?
Wow... unemployment can suck. I've been job hunting since I graduated from college last spring. It's a tough market. At least there's working on the house to look forward to. I'd kill for some time to work clay. I hope you'll have a relaxing enjoyable summer.
Hey FC and Em! Well, you can see I'm not laid off after all! I spoke too soon. But, I'm not complaining.
Pup's doing well, FC. You saw the previous post?
