Working On A Dream

Now the cards I've drawn's a rough hand, darling
I straighten my back and I'm working on a dream
I'm working on a dream

I'm working on a dream
Though sometimes it feels so far away
I'm working on a dream
I know it will be mine someday

Rain pourin' down, I swing my hammer
My hands are rough from working on a dream
From working on a dream

I'm working on a dream
Though trouble can feel like it's here to stay
I'm working on a dream

I'm working on a dream
Though it can feel so far away
I'm working on a dream

The sunrise come, I climb the ladder
The new day breaks and I'm working on a dream
I'm working on a dream
I'm working on a dream

Very nice post. Very well put together.
Classy. Yeah. That's what I was looking to say!

You sure are working it!!! I love the color selection, you sure are an artist. The house has that I'm layed back and woodsy with a slick edge vibe.

Annie, the house really does look nice. The colors are great and I love the vents.
When you mentioned your blogoversary I went back to the beginning and started to read up. got as far as building the vents post.
Seeing them up close has spurred me to go back and read up to the present....

Super details on the house...I love it. Strong craftsman tone without buying the whole package. You're an artist in more than one detail. Great work!

Hey Woody! thanks! hey, I was wondering if anybody would see the Craftsman influence. I love that style but didn't want it to be overtly so.
