What's New Pussycat?

I'm not one to keep many sweets around the house but I got a terrible craving for a banana split one day. It was very good.
Our native redbuds are finally in full bloom.
The new peonies and....they have ants on them!
I'm hoping some bluebirds move in.
I have never seen the watercress get this big. It is still cool enough for it to be tasty.

I'm working on some informative posts; maybe I can get some time soon. Oh, I was informed that the article was picked up by the Associated Press so, if I understand that correctly, I could be appearing in a newspaper in your area! Not likely, but maybe! I have seen it picked up by about 3 other Alabama newspapers.

I'm hoping to see it in our paper which no longer can afford reporters to write local news and has all kinds of stories from places other than our community! if so, I will send you a copy to autograph!

I don't like to keep sweets in my shack either. I know that I will just eat them until they are gone.

Awesome Banana Split! You've got Sonic beat by a mile. Making lima bean soup today with all my leftover ham. Need Banana Split for desert now.

Yeah, its normal that ants go for peonies. Don't recall ever seeing any damage from them though.

I LOVE Tom Jones!

No telling how many women around the country will be inspired reading your story. It may even be picked up overseas! Just don't let one of those morning shows get hold of you.

Hey IR! that would be great if it was published down there but I believe it may only be the state of Alabama. That's sad that ya'll can't afford reporters anymore tho; dang!

Hey Erin! thanks! yeah, a reader here said to leave the ants; it helps the flowers or something.

Hey Mark! yeah, I will too and then I'll feel bad.

Hey Kathy! you know, I wanted to go to Sonic and get one but since it was Easter they were closed. Mine was pretty darn good tho.

Hey Sissy! well, I hope somebody is inspired or encouraged or something. I don't expect any more publicity from it however.

Just think! We can all say "Hey...I knew her when..."

Good for you, my friend! Now a lot more folks will get to know just how amazing you are!

Hey Jim! thanks! well, I don't think it's actually going to get spread that far really.

The picture of the banana split was just so CRUEL to post.

Where are my car keys, I have to go to the grocery store now. The bananas best not be green or I will really be pissed.

That watercress is beautiful... and the little bird house too. Spring is really here. Our peonies are that high now too.
